Software Engineers perform development work across the technology stack (both front-end/back-end expertise). They are versatile in how they can add value, demonstrating the ability to manage the completion of projects that involve databases, backend services, or the development of front-end applications. They should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of emerging technologies to support the development of new solutions. Software Engineers understand the full technology stack and underlying applications, services, and databases in order to ensure optimal performance.

As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex enterprise software solutions. Individuals in this role collaborate closely with technical and non-technical roles such as data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to provide design, technical analysis, development/configuration, testing, implementation, and support expertise representing the interest of the business across the enterprise. In this role, individuals participate in and lead design sessions and provide leadership for ongoing development efforts on various projects.

This team focuses on work that involves both backend and frontend development, so having knowledge as a full stack developer is desired.
