Schedule: Full-time; day or night shift; occasional weekends during peak
Compensation: $20+/hour (experience-based)

Role Summary
Lead a shift on our production floor to deliver consistent, high-quality pops. You’ll run pace vs. plan, coach an 5–8 person crew, execute GMP/HACCP tasks and records, and partner closely with our QA Lead (who owns lot release/CAPA) and our Production Manager (who owns planning/capacity).

- Reports to: Production Manager
- Partners: QA Lead (verification, audit readiness, final lot release, CAPA leadership)
What You’ll Do
- Run the shift to plan: staffing, pace, changeovers, downtime recovery
- Execute GMP/HACCP-critical tasks and maintain accurate batch/line records (QA verifies and releases lots)
- Lead sanitation execution at the shift level; uphold safety and allergen controls
- Coach 5-8 teammates through huddles, on-the-job training, and clear standards
- Communicate results (output, yield, holds, issues) via end-of-shift report and clean handoffs
What You Won’t Own (Scope Clarity)
- Final lot release or CAPA root-cause leadership (owned by QA)
- Weekly capacity/materials planning (owned by Production Manager)
- Sanitation/food safety program documentation (owned by QA)
What Success Looks Like (KPIs)
- OEE/uptime
- Planned vs. actual output
- First-pass yield
- Changeover duration
- Unplanned downtime
- Record completeness
What You Bring
- 2+ years leading a production team in food/beverage/CPG (or adjacent manufacturing)
- Hands-on changeovers, basic troubleshooting, and a calm, clear coaching style
- Working knowledge of GMP/HACCP; PCQI/FSMA a plus
Working Conditions
- On your feet in a kitchen/warehouse environment
- Lift 30–50 lbs
- Comfortable working in sub-freezing areas during pulls/packouts
