Core Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate, assemble, service, maintain, and test industrial hydraulic equipment.
  • Perform Filter replacements, hose changes, leak repair along with general Maintenance and Charging and maintaining of system accumulators.
  • Maintain equipment lubrication and greasing systems.
  • Apply fluid power theory and related knowledge to test and troubleshoot industrial hydraulic systems and applications.
  • Perform troubleshooting and supervise required replacements, repair, and/or adjustment.
  • Assist in development of work procedures, PM’s and LOTO.
  • Participate in plant 5S and Lean manufacturing programs as well as any and all continuous improvement activities.
  • Practice “Root Cause Analysis” to determine solutions to problematic process issues.
  • Be an active safety advocate.
  • Follow all company rules and policies.
  • Coordinate effective repairs and maintenance on equipment utilizing SAP.
  • Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance program for area of responsibility.
  • Assign daily maintenance activities.
  • Provide hands on assistance as needed for maintenance personnel, contractors, and Mechanical Specialists.
  • Provide necessary training and support to maintenance personnel.
  • Plan and coordinate weekly and yearly outages.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification required.
  • AA/AS or the equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Technical degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 5 years experience coordinating industrial maintenance activities.
  • SAP Maintenance module experience.
  • Interpret and understand hydraulic symbols and read system schematics.
  • Knowledgeable in electrical principles and is skilled in using hand tools, power tools, micrometers, and testing/monitoring equipment.
  • Understand ladder logic.
  • Understand sequence & counterbalance circuits and associated valves.
  • Know how, where and when to take fluid samples and read lab reports.
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic diagrams.
  • Intermediate computer skills preferred with Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically in Excel.
  • Seamless Pipe Mill experience greatly desired.
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience.
  • Strong Safety Awareness and experience.
  • LOTO experience.
