How You Will Contribute:
Develop and automate test strategies for telecom networks, ensuring robust testing for optical products.
Create and execute detailed test plans using TCL/Python for comprehensive validation.
Identify and implement automation for test scenarios to enhance efficiency.
Debug and resolve defects collaboratively with design teams to ensure product quality.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, including ITU-T, IETF, IEEE, and ANSI.
The Must Haves:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Proven ability to execute technical test procedures and assess system-level impacts.
Solid knowledge of optical networking, including L2/L3 and security concepts.
Strong teamwork skills, a commitment to learning, and a professional work ethic.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documenting and summarizing technical issues.
Nice to Haves:
Experience in creating formal test reports and communicating technical findings effectively.
Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated ability to reduce debugging time and enhance test automation coverage.
Knowledge of network management systems (NMS) and platform testing.
Understanding of DCN communications and security protocols.
