EMEA Logistics Specialist (m/f/*)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an EMEA Logistics Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Develop and implement programs to improve cycle time, reduce quality discrepancies, and optimize costs in 3M's global transportation network.

• Enhance customer service by improving speed and reliability in inbound and outbound logistics.

• Optimize transportation networks across all modes of transport within 3M.

• Conduct analysis and modeling to recommend optimal logistics solutions.

• Offer strategic insights on logistics capabilities and market realities to supply chain stakeholders.

• Use historical data to identify and implement more efficient transportation modes.

• Identify root causes of complex supply chain issues through data analysis.

• Continuously improve optimization processes, strategies, and engagement models.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent industry experience

• Extensive Supply Chain or Logistics experience including a transportation function for a manufacturing company

• Experience with SAP ERP

• Experience with Global and Air shipments

• Proficiency in English both written and verbal

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Ability to work on multiple cross functional projects with tight timelines

• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills

• Knowledge on data analytics and experience using databases such as Power BI and/or Snowflake

Job specifics:

• Work location: This role has on-site working model, with the employee working at least four days per week based in a 3M office at either - Wroclaw, Poland - Jüchen, Germany or Rivas, Spain

• Travel: up to 30% domestic and international

• Working pattern - Full-Time
