Job Overview:
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals are met efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards. This leadership role requires a proactive mindset to manage personnel, processes, and resources while driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise production teams to meet or exceed daily and long-term production targets.
Develop, implement, and optimize production plans to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Monitor production progress, allocate workforce and materials effectively, and coordinate across departments to ensure smooth operations.
Enforce company policies and safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and proactively address any technical or quality-related issues.
Manage equipment maintenance schedules and improvement plans to enhance equipment utilization and reduce unplanned downtime.
Control operational costs by optimizing manpower, equipment usage, and materials.
Conduct regular production meetings to assess performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure material availability and prevent production delays.
Report critical issues to senior management and support strategic decision-making with data-driven insights.
Participate in domestic and international training programs (including South East Asia and China) to enhance skills and operational knowledge.
Qualifications:
Associate degree from an accredited college or technical school; equivalent work experience may be considered.
2+ years of supervisory experience in PV module, semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or a related industry preferred.
Strong leadership abilities with a track record of motivating teams to achieve high performance.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Willingness to travel internationally for training purposes, as needed.
