Role Specific: Work role responsibilities

1. Sort, scan, and import patient records into the EMR, with extreme attention to detail. 
2. Process incoming faxes 
3. Answer incoming phone calls and handle appropriately 
4. Retrieve paper charts from storage as needed 
5. Maintain strict confidentiality of all medical records, ensuring no unauthorized person access to medical records 
6. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Required - High school/GED 

Preferred

• Associates Degree 
• Medical Records Experience

1. Offer high quality customer service to both internal and external customers. 
2. Address work tasks in an efficient and timely manner 
3.  Follow up and through on work assignments and tasks 
4. Represents CMG with professionalism and caring attitude
