Location:  Anywhere (WFH with some travel)

 

Salary:  £54,197.64 per annum  

 

Hours: 35 hours per week

Are you looking for a change…Overseeing £1 billion of assets across 23,000 units and 2,000 sites, we have an exciting opportunity for maternity leave cover to oversee the Care/Commercial Asset Data team (two people) and continue the implementation of our data strategy activities. Previous experience in any area such project management, Finance, Technology, Business Information or Property is advantageous as this is a dynamic and varied role with a broad remit.

 

Day to day the Asset Data team support the Care/Commercial property team members (55 people) with the activities needed to procure, manage, and deliver Group reinvestment projects. This includes monitoring financial performance, supporting system inputs and process improvements, overseeing performance metrics, and analysing data such as repairs and compliance to develop information to complement decision making.

 

Important qualities for success in this role are being highly organised, excellent attention to detail, ability to switch tasks and manage multiple priorities, be a proactive self-starter, problem solver and demonstrate a supportive leadership style.

 

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our care homes/commercial sites by providing insightful analysis, producing reports and strategic recommendations that drive reinvestment, sustainability, and operational excellence. This is a high-impact role where your expertise in data, systems, and stakeholder engagement will directly influence the quality and longevity of our care/commercial environments.

What will you be doing?

  • Continuing the delivery of a Care Asset Data Strategy, acting as the Asset Data Owner.
  • Providing expert analysis and reporting to support the Asset Management Strategy.
  • Delivering high-quality, insightful management information to senior leaders.
  • Overseeing the development and continuous improvement of stock condition surveys and systems.
  • Reporting on stock evaluation and reinvestment opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Designing and delivering training to ensure accurate data recording across teams.
  • Enhancing business processes across tendering, finance, systems and project delivery.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for SAP/BPC and supporting technological projects.
  • Ensuring robust financial reporting and contract process utilisation.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

 

What skills and experience do I need?

  • Experience working with data.
  • Strong background in project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis.
  • Experience with SAP, BPC, and Power BI or similar systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence strategic outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • A full, current driving licence is essential.
