- Assist teacher in routine classroom operation by working with students.
- Prepare planned instructional materials, attendance reports and class reports.
- Supervise students involved in non classroom activities; recess, lunch, room transitions, etc.
- Implement/follow teacher instructions of classroom procedures.
- Make appropriate referrals when teacher is not readily available.
- Assist with clerical duties such as inventory, bulletin boards, collecting money, etc.
- Demonstrate an understanding of students’ unique needs.
- Keep records, write lessons on the board, support students’ work.
- Assist with loading and unloading of students on buses.
- In specific classes, will feed, toilet, and manage self-care needs.
- Responsibilities may include non-medical procedures concerning personal hygiene of the students in addition to g-tube feedings.
- While employees will work in an assigned category, employees shall be required to support the needs of all students when necessary.

POSITION DETAILS: | This position is for the first semester of the 2025-26 school year. It is scheduled 7.25 hours per day. Scheduled hours 7:35 am to 3:20 pm. |
SALARY: | $14.79/hr |
BENEFITS: | This position is eligible for employee medical coverage. While holidays are unpaid, two sick days and .5 personal day are provided. |
REQUIREMENTS: | High School Diploma or GED required. |
SUMMARY:
Assist teachers in the classroom or in resource settings with daily activities and student management.
