The Ceco Door brand is growing and to support that growth, we are adding a Maintenance Planner to our team. This role will be based on-site at our manufacturing facility located in Milan, Tennessee.

What would you do as our Maintenance Planner?
You will be responsible for improving workforce productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts, materials, and equipment access. This role ensures that maintenance work is properly planned, scheduled, and documented to support asset reliability and operational efficiency.
You would also:
- Develop detailed job plans for preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance work.
- Create and manage weekly and daily maintenance schedules based on priorities, resource availability, and equipment downtime windows.
- Coordinate with operations to schedule maintenance activities with minimal impact on production.
- Maintain and optimize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for accurate work order tracking and history.
- Evaluate equipment PMs and optimize by eliminating redundant or unnecessary PMs, adjusting PM frequencies, and conducting RCM studies to identify gaps in the PM program
- Manage creation of new PMs and existing PMs in CMMS.
- Identify and procure necessary parts, tools, and equipment for planned work.
- Ensure availability of materials prior to job execution to avoid delays.
- Work with storeroom personnel to manage inventory levels and lead times.
- Optimize equipment BOMs
- Maintain accurate equipment history and job documentation in the CMMS.
- Generate reports on maintenance performance metrics such as schedule compliance, backlog, and wrench time.
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between maintenance, operations, engineering, and vendors.
- Lead weekly scheduling meetings and communicate job priorities and constraints.
- Support emergency work planning and assist in troubleshooting when needed.
The Skills and Experience you need:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, planning, or scheduling.
- Experience with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Infor EAM, MP2, Thrive) is required.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
- CMRT certification, CMRP certification and OSHA Safety training or equivalent preferred.
