Job Summary:
onsemi is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Staff Operations Manager. This role is critical in supporting business unit operations through strategic planning, capacity alignment, and cross-functional execution. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in semiconductor supply chains, distribution models, and operational analytics, with a passion for driving efficiency and scalability across global teams.
Performance Objectives
Strategic Business Planning
- Partner with business unit leaders to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with market trends and corporate objectives.
- Support quarterly and annual planning cycles, including scenario modeling and performance tracking.
Capacity & Supply Chain Alignment
- Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and product teams to ensure capacity plans meet business needs.
- Identify operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies to support customer demand and revenue goals.
Inventory Strategy & Projection
- Develop and maintain inventory strategies that balance customer service levels, working capital, and supply chain efficiency.
- Provide inventory projections based on demand signals, production plans, and market dynamics.
- Monitor inventory health across product lines and recommend actions to optimize turns and reduce excess/obsolete stock.
Operational Excellence
- Drive process improvements across planning, execution, and reporting functions.
- Develop and maintain operational KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance and identify areas for optimization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering to ensure alignment on business priorities and execution plans.
- Support product lifecycle management, including new product introductions and transitions.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, strategic planning, or supply chain within the semiconductor industry.
- Strong understanding of wafer fabrication and backend assembly/test capacity, including how they impact supply planning and product availability.
- Proven ability to analyze and optimize inventory strategies, including inventory projections and health monitoring.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and planning tools (e.g., SAP, Anaplan).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $114,500.00 to $157, 550.00. Range exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
