ROLE OVERVIEW
Gain hands-on experience in office operations while building skills that will help you in school, jobs, and beyond.
WHEN YOU'LL WORK
This part-time role is fully on-site and focused on keeping the office running smoothly while creating a positive, welcoming environment. You’ll support daily operations, help with facilities, and bring energy and reliability to the team.
- 5 to 10 hours per week, with a predictable schedule
- Onsite presence required every Monday through Thursday
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Office Operations: Keep things organized by managing supplies, assisting with desk assignments, coordinating repairs, and helping with guest check-ins and safety drills.
- Event Support: Work with the Event Lead to brainstorm and organize office events, help with logistics, and make sure everything runs smoothly.
- Tech and Admin Support: Partner with IT to set up and troubleshoot devices, organize desk equipment for new hires, and keep meeting rooms running smoothly.
- Vendor Coordination: Build relationships with vendors, keep service info up to date, and share ideas to improve services.
- Communication and Reporting: Share updates with the team, track office supplies, expenses, and maintenance needs.
- Create a Welcoming Office Culture: Listen to feedback, and suggest ways to make the office even better.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Current student (high school or college) is strongly preferred
- Comfortable with Google Workspace, Slack, or similar digital tools, and open to learning new systems
- Strong organizational habits, clear communication, curiosity, and a proactive, friendly approach
- Ability to stay adaptable and team-oriented while managing details independently
COMPENSATION and BENEFITS
- $20.00 per hour bill rate (contractor)
