Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Senior Project Manager within our Digital Marketing and Experience Design group for the San Diego, CA, area. This role requires 80% on-site with clients, 20% remote.
The Senior Project Manager role is intended to manage and adapt continuously to project goals. This highly collaborative leadership role will need to work closely with clients, all departments, including account, marketing, creative and technology teams, to deliver quality solutions for our customers.
Responsibilities
Project Management
- Experience leading Marketing Operations (MOPs) or Campaign Operations (COPs) teams on the facilitation of day-to-day operations as well as larger ongoing projects across the clients’ MarTech Stack.
- Plan, manage, and maintain project budgets.
- Own and optimize the centralized marketing operations intake process (Workfront).
- Review and refine incoming project requests for clarity and completeness.
- Establish scope, create schedules, develop estimates with a team, manage deliverables, and control risks and changes.
- Create and maintain project documentation to ensure visibility to teams, management, and clients.
- Manage multiple projects on different tracks.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
- Strong relationship management, account management, and sales support experience.
- Highly proficient in collaborating with project stakeholders, end-users, business partners, and technical team members to deliver high-quality projects.
- Lead cross-disciplined teams, manage client relationships, interact with product owners/managers and other business units. Coordinate internal and external IT partners and other outside marketing agencies.
- Establish common goals across teams and define relevant metrics and reporting to track team performance.
- Skilled at keeping an eye on the big picture, while managing the details.
- Drive Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with variety of stakeholders.
- Team Communication & Enablement.
Qualifications
- Must be able to confidently lead geographically distributed teams through the full project lifecycle of digital design, digital marketing, and technical projects. Well-versed in industry best-practices and current technologies.
- Must have excellent leadership, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- 8+ years of project management, marketing operations, or digital-production-experience in a digital consultancy or equivalent environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
Preferred Skills:
- Proven experience running digital marketing or campaign operations workflows (web, email, event, etc.)
- Highly organized, meticulous, and curious
- Basic experience managing Adobe tech stack including:
- Marketo
- Analytics
- AEP
- Experience managing projects in Adobe Workfront
- Leveraging Generative AI
- Familiar with Scrum/Agile Methodology
- Strategic problem solver with preference for taking action, requirements gathering and documentation, and improving processes
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity
- Excellent communication and customer interaction skills
- Experience with global marketing teams or matrixed organizations
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, Smartsheet, and Jira
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $81,978 to $178,090. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
