Reliability Engineer (all genders) 

As a Subject Matter Expert (all genders) for Progressive Maintenance, you implement strategies, processes, standards, and tools to optimize equipment availability (OEE), reliability, and cost-effectiveness of technical systems, taking into account all safety, quality, and economic aspects. At the same time, as an SME, you are part of the CORE Readiness project team for the implementation of the new SAP S4 Hana system environment in the area of Maintenance.


YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • You apply data-driven short- and long-term strategies to improve the reliability and availability of technical systems
    Supporting local functions in the systematic analysis of equipment failures (breakdowns, defects) – for example through problem solving or breakdown elimination – is part of your responsibilities
  • You develop technical solutions or conduct data-based root cause analyses to prevent recurring equipment failures. Considering capacity, quality, and cost aspects while simultaneously optimizing and standardizing maintenance is your responsibility
  • Close collaboration and continuous exchange with local functions regarding cross-functional PSS topics are also part of your tasks
  • You optimize maintenance processes for production and infrastructure with a focus on safety, environmental protection, cost efficiency, quality, and regulatory aspects
  • Developing and implementing maintenance excellence concepts (work planning, prioritization, optimization), including the efficient use of CMMS (SAP), is part of your responsibility
  • As an SME, you are part of the project team and may take on partial project management responsibilities for the implementation of SAP S4 Hana within the CORE Readiness project. This also includes reviewing local processes (As Built), data cleansing, harmonization of local maintenance processes, and conducting UATs (User Acceptance Tests)
  • You participate in cross-site and global knowledge exchange as well as knowledge transfer with other locations

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

  • You hold a completed degree (Master’s) in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Control Technology, or a comparable field
  • You bring several years of professional experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry
  • In-depth knowledge in the field of Maintenance and Reliability is part of your qualification
  • You have very good knowledge of GMP
  • Strategic, goal- and results-oriented thinking, as well as a strong sense of responsibility, distinguish you
  • Openness and teamwork are among your strengths
  • With your social competence, initiative, decision-making ability, creativity, and persuasiveness, you are able to inspire others
  • You have excellent analytical and communication skills. Strong software knowledge and IT affinity (e.g., SAP P2R/S4, Office, Power BI) are part of your skill set; ideally, you already have experience with SAP S4 Hana
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken, round off your profile
