At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for an Infrastructure Automation Engineer (PKI) to join our UniQue team.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Designing and developing automated tools and processes to enhance operational efficiency and security.
- Developing and managing containerized technologies to support scalable and resilient infrastructure.
- Managing the full lifecycle of end-user and device certificates issued by all NPKI Certificate Authorities.
- Administering and maintaining the Card Management System (CMS).
- Overseeing the integration and testing of PKI subcomponents, particularly in the context of new services or technologies.
- Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical guidance for NPKI-related services.
- Providing 2nd and 3rd level technical support to NPKI customers as part of the CIS services team.
- Managing tickets and workflows through the IT Service Management (ITSM) system.
- Handling certificate issuance and Smart Card enrolment processes for users.
- Supervising the daily operations, backup, and restoration of all PKI systems to ensure high availability and compliance.
- Maintaining detailed documentation, managing hardware/software inventories, and performing regular patching of systems and applications.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 3 years of specific experience.
- Extensive knowledge of modern communication and Internet Protocol (IP) based networking technologies and systems including security aspects.
- At least 3 years extensive experience with PKI System development, design, management.
- Strong knowledge of IP-based networking and related security principles.
- Expertise in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Practical experience with automation tools, especially Ansible.
- Solid understanding of cryptography, including symmetric/asymmetric encryption, digital certificates, and PKI.
- Knowledge of computer and network security, including OS and application vulnerabilities.
- Experience with SQL database administration.
- Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell).
- Hands-on experience with SSL, TLS, and OpenSSL.
- Excellent English language skills(C-level, written and spoken).
Desirable:
- Linux RHEL system administration
- Experience in development and implementation of computer security policies.
- Knowledge of post-quantum cryptography (PQC) algorithms.
- Experience with Post-Quantum PKI.
