About the role.
Operates all equipment in the on the mixing deck and support the specialty line as the back up fryer operator as required.
What you’ll be doing.
Effectively operates, cleans, and maintains the mixing deck
Responsible for ingredient addition and proper documentation
Maintains and promotes a good safety record and is a team player
Responsible for the ingredient addition and formulations outlined in product specifications ensures they are properly followed and monitored.
Completes and maintains all required documentation
Inspects product samples to ensure conformance to quality requirements
Maintains good housekeeping of area
Performing required daily tests to ensure product quality, consistency, and determine equipment effectiveness. Then records results into the designated McCain database to drive real time management and support data analysis.
Trained as back up specialty line operator and able to perform all duties with assistance
Clean up assignments include assisting the specialty operator with scraping the fryer
Other duties as assigned
What you’ll need to be successful.
Basic computer skills, familiarity with OCAP is an asset.
Must have a proven history of safe work habits
High school graduate and can perform basic mathematical calculations
Able to exercise good judgement in making decisions relative to the operation of a production line
Mechanically inclined and able to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems
Familiarity with Statistics Process Control software (Infinity QS) and SAP data entry
Thorough understanding of SHMIS, plant sanitation requirements, industrial chemicals, and HACCP and AIB gold standards
Must have strong communication skills, ability to follow detailed instructions, and be able to maintain good working relationships with Supervision and coworkers as well as ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work on a rotating shift basis
Ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently using effective time management and organization skills
Must be willing to work in a team based atmosphere

Compensation Package: - Starting at 28.46 CAD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts
