We’re Encore Vet Group — a community of locally led veterinary hospitals with the support of a home office team that helps them shine. Now we’re looking for a passionate Manager for Facility Operations & Capital Projects to make sure our practices not only stay standing but thrive.
Blueprint of the Role
Be the go-to problem solver when practices need facility support, keeping veterinary teams focused on patient care.
Maintain accurate records of facility infrastructure, maintenance history, and condition across Encore’s platform.
Spend wisely and strategically, treating company dollars as your own.
Act as the bridge between practice leaders, finance, legal, and operations, ensuring projects move seamlessly from idea to reality.
Lead facility projects from start to finish: concept, drawings, vendor coordination, construction, and completion.
Balance strategic decisions (budgets, leases, capital planning) with hands-on execution (repairs, inspections, vendor management).

You’re comfortable running bid processes, negotiating contracts, and keeping vendors accountable.
You’re as confident reviewing KPIs and budgets in a dashboard as you are walking a site in person.

Other Nuts and Bolts
This is a remote role with ~20% travel to practices.
You’ll need high-speed internet and phone access.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and climb stairs as part of site visits.
