As a Host/Hostess, you’ll be the first and last point of contact for our guests, ensuring their experience starts and ends on a high note. Pay Rate $17.25 #TowncountrySD

• Greet every guest with warmth, enthusiasm, and a genuine smile.
• Manage reservations and walk-ins to keep the flow of the restaurant running smoothly.
• Guide guests to their tables while providing a little ARLO charm along the way.
• Communicate wait times with accuracy and keep guests informed.
• Assist with seating arrangements to maximize comfort and efficiency.
• Maintain an organized and welcoming host stand and entrance area.
• Answer phone calls, provide helpful information, and assist with to-go orders as needed.
• Work closely with the entire front-of-house team to ensure seamless service.

• Prior experience hosting or in guest service preferred.

• Warm, engaging presence; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong ability to multitask and stay calm during busy service periods.

• Meticulous attention to detail and awareness of guest comfort and first impressions.

• Familiarity with reservations systems and POS/booking tools is a plus.

• Flexible availability — evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and walk for lengthy periods (up to 8+ hours per shift).

• Frequently bend, reach, turn, and move between lobby, entrance, and dining areas.

• Occasionally lift or carry up to 20-25 lbs (menus, host station supplies, decorations).

• Able to navigate stairs if sections are on different levels or mezzanines.
