Job Description

Temp, Events & Experiential Marketing

Assignment: Temporary, Full Time (5 Days/week for 3 months, immediate start-December)

Date: ASAP - 12/19

Rate: $25 per hour 

Hours: 40 - 50 hours per week; Hybrid 3 days in the office NYC-Tribeca



Overview

The Events and Experiential Temp will support the planning and execution of high-impact events that bring the David Yurman brand to life, including retail activations, wholesale events, VIC experiences, and brand tentpoles. The role will also provide administrative support to the broader team and travel as needed to support events on-site.
 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing events across retail, wholesale, and brand tentpoles, collaborating with internal teams and wholesale accounts.
  • Manage event logistics, including vendor research, venue sourcing, invitations, catering, décor, experiential elements, music, gifts, and on-site support.
  • Track budgets, process invoices, reconcile expenses, and manage POs to ensure payments are delivered on time and events are within budget.
  • Support development of event collateral, invitations, decks, and on-brand materials in collaboration with the creative team.
  • Maintain detailed event trackers, master calendar, timelines, post-event recaps, and event assets, ensuring organization and accessibility.
  • Work closely with retail corporate teams, Regional Directors, Wholesale Field Sales teams, and Store Managers on event requests, deliverables, and approvals.
  • Coordinate legal, commercial co-venture, and talent agreements, as well as product or monetary donations for charity event sales.
  • Manage shipment, inventory, and delivery of event collateral, working with off-site warehouses and vendors.
  • Conduct competitive research on key moments, tentpole events, and in-store activations to inform strategy.
  • Travel as needed to support and execute events on-site.

Qualifications

  • 0-1+ years of events experience required
  • Luxury marketing, events, and production in a luxury goods or retail sector preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and positive attitude required.
  • Team-oriented and highly organized individual with a strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project and time management skills required.
  • Stay abreast of marketing/event industry trends, opportunities, and best practices.
  • Computer Skills: Advanced proficiency and knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
