Job Overview:

The Assistant Manager, Key Accounts is responsible for managing Aurobindo Pharma USA, Inc. projects providing end-to-end support of business leads from enquiries to the commercial level. Responsible for smooth, efficient running of all the projects related to the North America API business.

Responsibilities:
  • Current Customers – Existing Business:

Contact point for all API North America customers in relation to Project Management. Resolve issues related to all running projects.

Independently interacting with cross section Project teams for:

  • Demand Supply alignment with Production Planning team
  • Timely Dispatches and correct shipping mode and docs with Logistic team
  • Quality issues with QA team
  • Regulatory concerns with RA team
  • Combing through CDAs and Agreements with Legal and Manufacturing team
  • Ensuring timely Payment Collection and credit period with Finance team
  • Overseeing satisfactory Plant Audit arrangements.

Coordinating for smooth and timely execution from PO to Product delivery, including DEA shipments and shipments through APUSA / broker. Proactively identify and facilitate resolution of potential deviation from plan and involve in logistics costing for right decisions.

  • Current Customers – New Business:

Pursuing for new business opportunities with key customers and initiate periodic business development meetings with manager.

Keeping track of Sample dispatches for Seed projects and Enquiry to Project conversion.

Assist management with Business Dev Strategy reports for planning Push strategies.

Attend DCAT and CPHI North America.

  • New Business Development:

Desk research for new potential customers.

Helping in IMS data research for identifying new potentials.

Keeping track of speed dispatches of Samples and Sample to Project award rate.

Fill RFIs and coordination of Govt Tenders

 

  • Reports:

Preparing Monthly Budget vs Actual, Monthly Business Report, Demand Forecasting, Weekly Enquiry vs Status Report, Payment Collection Report. Assist in Annual Budget for North America.

Preparing detailed report of each customer for DCAT and CPHI for senior management, while also managing meeting calendar.

Qualifications - Skills & Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience with customer support functions
  • Must be an independent self-starter able to work with limited or no supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service orientation

Compensation: $50,000 to $70,000, Annual Bonus,

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required, Chemistry or other scientific field is preferred.
Physical Requirements:OFFICE POSITION - While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to: •Stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment •Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work •Light to moderate lifting is required •Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic). •Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time Sedentary work Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
