Arena Guest Services - Attendent chez City of Hastings, MN

About the Department

The Arena Guest Services Attendant is responsible for assisting with a variety of arena operations, including snow removal, skate sharpening (age-dependent), and moving nets during games. Provide customer service by selling tickets, operating the point-of-sale system, and handling cash or card payments. Support open skate sessions by being on the ice as needed, and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized arena environment. Perform other duties as assigned to support players, patrons, and events.

This is a part-time, seasonal position.

Position Duties

Examples of Duties:

• Snow Removal
• Operating a point-of-sale system.
• Handle cash and credit card payments. 
• Skate sharpening (age-dependent)
• Physically be on the ice during open skate sessions. 
• Move goalie nets during high school games and tournaments. 
• Sell entrance tickets during high school games. 
• Provide customer service to players and patrons. 
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Arena. 
• Other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 15 years of age. 
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings.
