About the Department
The Arena Guest Services Attendant is responsible for assisting with a variety of arena operations, including snow removal, skate sharpening (age-dependent), and moving nets during games. Provide customer service by selling tickets, operating the point-of-sale system, and handling cash or card payments. Support open skate sessions by being on the ice as needed, and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized arena environment. Perform other duties as assigned to support players, patrons, and events.
This is a part-time, seasonal position.
Position Duties
Examples of Duties:
- Snow Removal
- Operating a point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash and credit card payments.
- Skate sharpening (age-dependent)
- Physically be on the ice during open skate sessions.
- Move goalie nets during high school games and tournaments.
- Sell entrance tickets during high school games.
- Provide customer service to players and patrons.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Arena.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 15 years of age.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends and evenings.
