Retail Operations Administrator (5+ yrs exp. req.) Description

Our client in luxury retail is looking for a Retail Operations Coordinator to join their team near Manhasset, NY. In this role, you’ll be the primary point of contact for clients and vendors – managing day-to-day administrative operations and client interactions both in person and via phone and email. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of front desk, customer service, and administration experience in a retail store environment. To succeed, you must be organized, personable, and comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced retail environment. Retail Operations Administrator (5+ yrs exp. req.) Responsibilities

•    Greet customers and provide a warm and inviting welcome upon entering the store
•    Handle incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members
•    Monitor and manage store’s email, respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests
•    Handle customer complaints or concerns, resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
•    Call clients when items are ready for pickup or payment is due
•    Enter purchases and parts orders into the system
•    Coordinate shipping, pickups, and order fulfillment
•    Communicate with vendors and manage order logistics
•    Support back-office tasks to keep daily operations running smoothly

Retail Operations Administrator (5+ yrs exp. req.) Qualifications

•    5+ years of retail front desk, customer service and administration experience required
•    Experience handling customer inquiries and vendor communications required
•    Proficient with MS Office Suite required
