We have an opportunity for a Finance Manager to join the Development Finance team at the Stockland Brisbane office, supporting our community assets across Queensland for a 12 month contract. 

 

The Opportunity – About the Role

This is a true business partnering role, blending commercial and technical finance skills to support strategic decision-making and drive performance across key Communities in Queensland. You’ll be deeply embedded in the business, providing insights, challenging assumptions, and supporting capital requests and growth initiatives.

You’ll be someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves and getting into the detail, while also stepping back to see the bigger picture. This is a role you can truly make your own bringing your expertise, curiosity, and drive to shape how finance supports the business.

Key responsibilities include:

· Partnering with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities and manage risks

· Using Excel for Financial Modelling and Feasibility scenario modelling

· Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting

· Driving process improvements and simplification

· Contributing to strategic planning and business case development

· Leading change and innovation across the Business Unit

 

 

About You

You’re a commercially minded finance professional with:

· A relevant tertiary qualification (CA/CPA preferred)

· Experience in financial analysis, planning, and business partnering

· Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting

· A collaborative approach and ability to build productive networks

· A hands-on mindset and a desire to make a meaningful impact

You communicate with impact, coach and develop others, and align performance for success. You’re confident in challenging the status quo and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
