Purpose of the Job :Handle banking relationship in connection with Letter of Credits, Custom Duty payment & accounting, support business with tender payments and bank guarantees. Generation of EBRC for export earnings
- Review and analysis of bank guarantees draft and related documentation. Ensure the approval as per the DOA. Ensure the issuance of guarantees on time
- Analysis of commission & charges on guarantees based on the value/tenure and process the BG’s in respective bank where charges are comparatively low.
- Maintenance of Bank guarantee tracker & responsible for closure of BG’s on stipulated timeline.
- Preparation of BG listing on monthly basis & analyze the utilization of non-funding credit facility provided by the bank.
- Responsible for verifying & approving both domestic & foreign Letter of Credit as per the standard LC guidelines & INCOTERMS.
- Analyze, prepare and submit the LC collection documents to the Bank on time.
- Maintain the tracker for inward/outward LC payments. Liaison with the bank for settlement of LC collections as per the LC term.
- Management of Amex cards – fresh issue, limit enhancement and closure of Employee FX cards.
- Statutory and compliance support – I.e Responsible for payment and accounting of Custom duty and reconciliation of ECL account.
- Preparation of bank reconciliation statement.
- Payment of EMD, ensure the timely collection of EMD and preparation of aging report.
- FX management – Spots, forwards/hedging by aligning with central treasury team.
- Compliance with DGFT regulations i.e Preparation and submission of export data to bank for EDPMS (Export Data Processing and Monitoring system) regularization and issuance of EBRC via DFGT.
- Build and maintain automated reports and Power BI dashboards to track key financial metrics.
Education : B. Com graduate (MBA in Finance preferred)
Work Experience : 2-4 years of experience in handling, Letter Credit, Bank Guarantee, EMD, Custom Duty
Other Skills :
- SAP and Excel knowledge is must
- Solid understanding of financial numbers and Treasury
