Job Summary

Join the Platform Software team at NetApp Core Storage Engineering (CSE) for a dynamic 6-month internship! As an Intern Software Engineer, you will be part of a talented group dedicated to crafting embedded software for cutting-edge NetApp storage solutions. Dive into the realm of high-performance enterprise storage systems, explore and integrate AI-based techniques to enhance data management processes, improve existing tests and develop new features

The role also involves documentation of design, implementation, and testing processes. As part of the internship, candidates can expect mentorship, exposure to and work on NetApp data management technologies.

Job Requirements

• Working efficiency in C, C++, and Python programming languages
• Basic knowledge of operating system kernel architecture
• Understanding of basic debugging tools
• Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and interest in their application in data management.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong team player mindset
• Familiarity with computer architecture, data structures, and standard programming practices
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills
• Exposure to Windows and Linux platforms

Your Profile

• You must be a current student pursuing a bachelor's degree 
• This internship opportunity is perfect for 3rd-year students seeking a 6-8 month internship as part of their degree program 
• Happy to come into the Cork office a minimum of twice a week as part of our hybrid work culture
