Regional Operations Manager

Location: Varies (within assigned regional territory)
Reports to: Senior Leadership

Overview:

Camarillo Fitness, a franchisee of Orangetheory Fitness, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Operations Manager to oversee the performance, operational excellence, and leadership development across multiple Orangetheory Fitness studios within a designated region.

This individual will be responsible for guiding Studio Managers, ensuring consistent delivery of the OTF experience, and exceeding sales and operational targets. The ideal candidate will be a people-first leader, a strategic thinker, and a highly effective coach.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support, and mentor Studio Managers and Sales Associates across all assigned studios
  • Drive performance to exceed regional sales, membership growth, class utilization, KPIs, EBITDA, and other key operational goals
  • Implement and maintain strong sales processes, systems, and best practices across all studios
  • Coordinate and execute regional marketing strategies, community events, and studio outreach campaigns
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, and training of studio staff, ensuring alignment with company standards and values
  • Conduct regular studio visits to assess performance, provide coaching, and ensure brand consistency
  • Optimize class scheduling to maximize attendance and member satisfaction
  • Maintain high standards in facility cleanliness, functionality, and safety, reporting maintenance needs within 24 hours
  • Partner with Human Resources on disciplinary issues and performance management processes
  • Enforce corporate policies, procedures, and operational systems throughout all studios
  • Facilitate monthly team meetings, leadership training, and performance evaluations
  • Submit a monthly visit and training schedule to corporate leadership by the 1st of each month
  • Provide weekly regional sales productivity and KPI summary reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent experience (3–5+ years in a multi-unit management role)
  • Prior experience in fitness, wellness, retail, or hospitality industry strongly preferred
  • Active fitness certifications (ACE, NASM, ACSM, etc.) are a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM or scheduling systems
  • Proven ability to drive sales performance and manage financial metrics
  • Outstanding leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High energy, positivity, and a strong work ethic
  • Customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional member experiences

Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel frequently within the assigned region to visit studios and support studio teams
  • Most travel will be local and within regular business hours
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required for remote or outlying studios within the region

Salary Description
$70,000 - $80,000
