RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Every Home for Christ. 
• Adheres to the Biblical standards of moral conduct, Every Home for Christ Christian Community Conduct, Every Home for Christ vision statement, Every Home for Christ statement of faith, Every Home for Christ’s Employee standards and policies, Every Home for Christ’s Covenant of Harmony, Enduring Foundations and upholds Every Home for Christ’s ministry in prayer.
• Participates in our Christ-centered community through working in the HQ office and continuously upholds the ministry in prayer.
• Develop mobile applications for various platforms (iOS, Android, etc.) using appropriate programming languages (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, Java, etc).
• Collaborate with project owners, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into full featured mobile applications.
• Develop new user-facing features for all existing and future mobile applications.
• Manage the end-to-end app store lifecycle, including submission, updates, and compliance for both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Provide maintenance for all mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient APIs that meet the functional needs of mobile applications.
• Integrate APIs with backend systems and databases.
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
• Review and test code-base or technical integrations for various projects.
• Integration of analytics software within mobile applications.
• Responsible for improving code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews.
• Managing organization and backups of all source files, and documentation.
• Research industry best practices and new technologies or tools. 
• Integrate with our backend services to make sure we are delivering a great mobile user experience that’s fast and stable for end users.
• Provide assistance in other areas as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Active participation/attendance at a local church
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
• Experience: 3-5 years of mobile app programming experience
• Experience in related programming language (Java, Kotlin, Obj C, C++, Swift, etc)
• Believes strongly in the mission and strategy of Every Home for Christ
• Possess strong passion for evangelism, discipleship, prayer
• Experience and thorough understanding of related programming languages such as java, Obj. C, Swift, etc required.
• Expert in Swift programming.
• Expert in Kotlin programming.
• Expert in Java programming.
• Expert in using Swift UI.
• Expert knowledge of mobile application 
• Ability to design and develop APIs.
• Ability to work autonomously and complete the app lifecycle independently. 
• Ability to self-motivate, take initiative, make independent decisions, and solve problems.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment and work independently.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to maintain relationships and partnerships.
• Maintain a systematic and organized approach to accurately, thoroughly, and timely completing assignments.
• Ability to collaborate with various departments and team with grace, compassion and humility
•  Strong ability to effectively communicate cross culturally with respect and grace; embodying the values of the ministry
• Time management skills and ability to multi-task

• Ability to work well with others under tight deadlines, high quality standards and last-minute changes.
• Works in the office/onsite 5 days per week
• possible travel up to 5%
