As a Sales and Industrialisation Planning Lead (m/f/d), you are the linking person between our and the commercial teams globally. Your role is important to coordinate the industrialization activities for new technologies and fragrance developments before our Encapsulation Technologies become available commercially. You will ensure that from a Supply Chain point of view new technologies, fragrance developments, sampling and product transfers are coordinated smoothly. The ultimate objective is that new launches brought to market are ready for orders or for plant trials with our clients ensuring Business and client deadlines are respected.

In this role, you will work closely with different Fragrance Development teams, Science & Technology, Industrialisation, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Care, Commercial, Planning, Quality Management and Purchasing.

 

You will be based in Vernier and report directly to the Head of Downstream Delivery Systems based in Argenteuil. Travel between these locations will happen occasionally.

 

You will:

Lead, drive and plan

  • Business support and product launches:
    • Process and Product transfers from Development and S&T to the Industrialization team and Production transfer programs across sites and contract manufacturers
    • The Delivery Systems S&OP cycle in alignment with the SCM team
    • Commercial portfolio/project reviews and manage Supply Chain related projects in Delivery Systems at local, regional and global level

 

  • Projects:
    • Supply or technical crises in the event they occur
    • Factory, Toller, Client, pilot and transfer trials
    • Manage raw material supply risks and initiate mitigation projects

 

  • Continuous improvement:
    • Contribute to the Delivery Systems strategy, main pillars and success factors for business growth, complexity reduction, drivers of profitability and implement these into our Supply Chain
    • Continuous Improvement projects (e.g. portfolio management, sampling, packaging)
    • Lead Efficiency Programs (e.g. Cost, Inventory, Lead-time etc.)

 

Manage, monitor and improve

  • Capacity monitoring and budgeting in coordination with Manufacturing footprint organization
  • Production and trial capacity
  • BCP planning and crisis management
  • Order pattern, packaging flexibility
  • Critical raw materials
  • Inventory FG and raw materials

 

You?

  • University degree - Business Administration, Supply Chain or Engineering/Chemistry
  • 6+ years experience in Supply Chain or relevant field
  • Experience in the Specialty Chemistry industry
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Fluency in English; French knowledge beneficial
  • Strong internal and external customer focus
  • Dynamic team player with a truly global mindset
  • Able to work in a matrix environment and to interact with diverse stakeholders
  • Good command of analytical tools, MS Excel, Dashboard tools (e.g. Tableau), SAP, BI
