Your role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Mutual Fund Core Specialist to join our operations team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation at the CUSIP and account level, managing the ACAT (Automated Customer Account Transfer) fail process, and overseeing deliverables from offshore teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset to work across internal teams and external parties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily reconciliation of mutual fund positions and transactions at both the CUSIP and account level.
• Investigate and resolve breaks and discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
• Manage the ACAT fail process, including root cause analysis and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Provide oversight and guidance to offshore teams, ensuring adherence to SLAs, quality standards, and process documentation.
• Facilitate communication across internal departments (e.g., operations, technology, compliance) to support reconciliation and issue resolution.
• Engage with external parties such as fund companies, custodians, and counterparties to resolve inquiries and exceptions.
• Support audits, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives related to reconciliation and transfer processes.
• Document procedures and contribute to training materials for both onshore and offshore teams.

You’ll be working in the Wealth Management Mutual Funds Operations team, supporting all operational aspects related mutual fund products. Our team operates across multiple locations and plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of mutual fund transactions and processes.
Your expertise
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• ideally 3+ years of experience in operations environment; reconciliation and/or ACAT processing knowledge is a plus.
• Strong understanding of mutual fund products, CUSIP-level data, and account structures.
• Experience working with offshore teams and managing cross-functional communication.
• Proficiency in reconciliation tools and systems; experience with ACAT platforms is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
