In particular, that includes creating an equitable, inclusive and growth-focused environment for our people.About this teamUnder the supervision and direction of the Operations Manager and the Warehouse Operations Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate will provide a supporting role to the Distribution Centre operations in respect to picking, packing, counting, receiving, shipping and restocking of inventory.A Day in the life: You will report to the Distribution Centre Warehouse Operations Supervisor You pick, pack and ship orders in a timely manner as assigned by managementYou meet or exceed engineered metrics within each department i.e. units picked per hourYou are capable of adapting to third party technologies (RF Guns and Voice Picking)You support and perform audits during inventory countsYou encourage and maintain a safe work environmentYou will be responsible for basic operation of computer systems and stock countersYou encourage and foster a spirit of personal development and entrepreneurshipYou keep the warehouse neat and organized at all times, and adhere to warehouse floor policies and safety measuresYou are adaptable to a busy, noisy and occasionally hot/cold environmentYou occasionally lift product or boxes up to 20kgs You complete other duties as assigned by ManagementSkills:You have the ability to communicate clearly and objectively, aiding to the success of the teamYou have strong organizational, prioritising, problem solving and counting skillsYou are detail orientedMust haves:Acknowledges the presence of choice in every moment and takes personal responsibility for their life.Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results. Communicates with honesty and kindness, and creates the space for others to do the same. Leads with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure. Fosters connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships. Integrates fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesn’t take themselves too seriously.
