About the role:
Reporting to the Supervisory group you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and enhancement of all electrical systems and components, fuses, lighting and wiring associated with our street furniture, offices and warehouses. The role will encompass preventative maintenance, electrical testing and audits. All work performed will be in a manner that adheres to the relevant electrical codes and standards.
A Day in the life:
- Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance within our office and warehouse
- Maintain company equipment and power tools, and to complete regular safety inspections
- Routine electrical testing of street furniture assets
- Install, maintain and repair PLC controlled scrolling poster systems
- Maintain and repair electrical systems on APT's & Digital screens
- Implement and maintain new electrical project work, as directed
About You:
Essential
- Relevant electrical licence & qualifications
- Drivers licence
- Literacy and numeracy skills
- Working knowledge of electrical theory and the associated principles
- Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work
- Mechanical aptitude
Desirable
- Master Electrician qualification
- Electrical Contractor qualification
