Position Summary

As the Resident Hospitality Liaison, reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will serve as a professional and welcoming first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors. You are responsible for creating a positive and supportive environment, helping residents and families feel valued and cared for, and supporting the team in optimizing each resident’s well-being and overall experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the face of the community — warmly welcome every guest, family, and resident while managing incoming calls with professionalism and care.
  • Keep things running smoothly — handle administrative tasks, organize files, and ensure community records are accurate and up to date.
  • Enhance resident convenience — coordinate transportation and salon appointments to support residents’ daily needs and lifestyle.
  • Ensure prompt service — prepare and deliver maintenance work orders quickly, following through until resolved.
  • Go the extra mile for residents — respond to requests for sundry items with efficiency and accuracy, making life a little easier every day.
  • Bring thoughtful touches — maintain a supply of greeting cards and stamps so residents can stay connected with loved ones.
  • Provide seamless support — arrange valet services and connect residents to staff resources as needed.
  • Prioritize safety — monitor security cameras and serve as the first responder to Emergency Response System alerts.
  • Support families with care — connect them with appropriate community resources and guidance when needed.
  • Elevate the experience — assist with community events, resident activities, and front-of-house hospitality efforts.
  • Be a team player — jump in where needed and take on other responsibilities that keep the community thriving.


Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.


Requirements

Education

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)


Skills/Experience

  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with residents, employees, families, and visitors.
  •  Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to respond professionally to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Skilled in identifying problems and applying sound problem-solving and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Proficient in general computer skills, including Microsoft Office, to create, update, and manage forms and records.
  •   A genuine appreciation for seniors and an understanding of the aging process and its challenges.
  • Professional appearance, friendly demeanor, and the ability to interact well with individuals at all levels
