The Senior Accountant will serve as a trusted financial partner within Renuity, playing a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial information that drives decision-making across the organization. This individual will own critical components of the month-end close, lead divisional financial reporting, and support audits while continuously improving processes, strengthening internal controls, and leveraging technology for scale. This is a high-impact role for someone eager to grow in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment.
What You'll Do:
Lead the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare and analyze GAAP-compliant financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and divisional financial packages for leadership.
Partner with FP&A and divisional leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing insights that drive performance.
Serve as a key liaison for external auditors; prepare schedules and documentation to support audit requirements.
Strengthen and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance procedures across multiple business units.
Drive process improvements by streamlining workflows, enhancing reporting capabilities, and leveraging ERP and automation tools.
Act as a resource and mentor for junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous learning.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA license preferred (or actively pursuing).
2–4 years of progressive accounting experience, with public accounting (Big 4 or national firm) strongly preferred.
Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience preparing complex financial statements.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling).
Strong analytical skills with a track record of identifying issues, proposing solutions, and driving execution.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to influence stakeholders across functions.
Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
