About the Role:
The Human Resources Generalist in our Health Care Services organization based in Peoria, AZ, plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall HR function to ensure a productive, compliant, and positive work environment. This position is responsible for managing a broad range of HR activities including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. The HR Generalist will serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees, facilitating communication and resolving workplace issues effectively. By implementing HR best practices and policies, this role contributes directly to employee engagement and organizational success. Ultimately, the HR Generalist ensures that the workforce is well-supported, motivated, and aligned with the company’s mission to deliver exceptional health care services.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably within the health care or related service industry.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional HR certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent.
- Experience working in a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) environment.
- Familiarity with health care compliance standards and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with employee engagement and retention strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and enrollment.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment law compliance.
- Conduct employee relations investigations and resolve workplace conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports related to HR metrics, compliance, and workforce analytics.
- Coordinate performance management processes including goal setting, evaluations, and development plans.
- Support training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations specific to the health care industry.

The HR Generalist will utilize strong communication skills daily to interact effectively with employees at all levels, ensuring clarity and understanding of HR policies and procedures. Analytical skills are essential for interpreting HR metrics and compliance data to inform decision-making and improve processes.
