About the Department
The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Planner II (Current Planning) in the Department of Community Development and Services. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year.
Under general supervision, performs professional level current or long range planning activities, ensuring program consistency within City planning strategies; and performs related duties as assigned.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
- The salary range for this position is $68,750.40 - $104,829.08 annually.
- Salary placement for non-represented positions is based on a comprehensive compensation review and takes into consideration the candidate's qualifications as well as internal equity.

Position Duties
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in planning, geography, architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, public or business administration, or a closely related field
- Two (2) years of professional level experience in planning
- Note: An equivalent combination of related training and experience may be considered
- Must possess and maintain a valid Nevada or "border state" driver's license as defined by NRS 483
