About this opportunity:

We are now looking for a VP of Sales in the West Region for AT&T GCU who wants to be part of our continuing journey towards building the future of connectivity. Through strategic thinking, business development and oversight of the West Region for our tier 1 customer, you will ensure flawless execution and enable a profitable business for Ericsson.  

This role depends upon a deep understanding of our customers’ business, operations and objectives. We are searching for a KAM (Key Account Manager) that will act with confident authority and that takes accountability to develop business relationships while actively contributing to making customers successful. In this role, you will be responsible for reporting to the customer on network rollout programs, network performance as well as planning for 5G deployments.  You will also be responsible for consolidated customer contribution, cash-flow and working capital.

What you will do:
  • Generate profitability sales and develop long term business with strategic mindset
  • Oversee West region markets within half of the country footprint
  • Executive reporting on all network rollouts and deployments to the customer
  • Ensure all in-building programs are executed flawlessly and meet profitability targets
  • Improve customer relationships and build trust and confidence
  • Ensure quality and profitability in delivery
  • Lead and develop a stellar sales team
The skills you bring:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Min years of experience: 7 plus years of experience of relationship sales and within the ICT industry.  
  • Minimum 5 years in leadership position.
  • Thorough understanding of Ericsson's Network Services and Network Product portfolio
  • Excelling at problem solving and critical thinking
  • We are a global team and Cultural awareness is key
  • Leadership and change management skills
  • Your ability to enable teamwork and collaboration will be needed
  • Financial acumen as well as innovative and creative thinking
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

 

Sales Incentive Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for sales incentives as a part of Ericsson’s Sales Incentive Plan. Actual payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of three medical plan options and a dental plan option that allow an employee to select the level of coverage that suits their needs. Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents.

 

Your Financial Security

We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson matches $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson’s full matching contributions. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
