Position Title: Machine Operator - Batter Breader

About the role.

As a Batter/Breader Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of all breading and batter equipment to ensure products meet quality standards. This role plays a vital part in product consistency and food safety in a high-paced production environment.

 

Openings.

Nights: 6pm-6am 2-2-3

 

What you’ll be doing.

  • Operate and monitor batter/breader equipment via touchscreen control stations

  • Ensure all set points align with product parameter sheets by communicating with the Prime Line Operator, quality control, and supervisors

  • Calculate batter solids, determine batter pickups and monitor viscosity

  • Follow quality process standards to ensure consistent product output

  • Support and participate in continuous improvement efforts

  • Follow all GMPs, Global BOPs, and safety procedures

  • Support change management initiatives to improve operations

  • Perform duties as assigned by Line Leader and Supervisor within safe working practices

  • Maintain adherence to company standards, food safety, and sanitation practices

 

What you’ll need to be successful.

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

  • Proven time management and prioritization skills

  • Prior manufacturing experience or strong aptitude for manufacturing processes

  • Good mathematical, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with sanitation processes and chemical usage

  • Ability to adapt to schedule changes and shift needs

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and safe work habits

  • Ability to lift 40–50 lbs. regularly and work in high humidity or temperature-variable environments
