Job Description:

We do utilize our PRN team members for all shifts, but nights are a high need shift for coverage. 

Pay is $18 / hour. 

Position Summary

Ready to be a superhero in scrubs? As a Personal Care Partner II QMAP, you'll swoop in to save the day by meeting our residents' daily personal care needs. You'll be the guardian of our company's mission and values, with a keen eye for spotting care needs faster than a speeding bullet. Plus, you'll be the medication maestro, conducting a symphony of pills and potions under the watchful eye of our licensed nurses. It's like being a human Swiss Army knife – versatile, reliable, and always ready for action!

Your Superpowers (aka Essential Duties)

  • Be the resident's personal sidekick, attending to their care needs faster than you can say "Holy hygiene, Batman!"
  • Transform into a grooming guru, helping residents look their best from head to toe. Bad hair day? Not on your watch!
  • Channel your inner Sherlock Holmes to anticipate and identify resident care needs. No detail is too small for your eagle eyes!
  • Become a master of multitasking, juggling resident care, family needs, and communication like a circus performer (minus the unicycle).
  • Be the guardian angel of resident safety, always on the lookout for potential risks or concerns.
  • Transform into a human megaphone (but a gentle one) to report any suspicions of abuse, neglect, or resource misappropriation.
  • Play "Resident Status Update" – the most important game you'll ever play – by keeping supervisors in the loop about changes in health or well-being.
  • Become the Medication Whisperer, assisting residents with their daily pill routines (no magic wand required, just follow state laws).
  • Channel your inner Boy/Girl Scout and always be prepared by restocking supplies and reporting necessary repairs.
  • Join the monthly "Avengers Assemble" (aka staff meetings) to tackle resident and departmental needs head-on.
  • Be ready to don your superhero cape for any other duties that come your way – because in this job, every day is an adventure!

 

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications & Experience

  • Per the state of operation requirements, Medication certification; QMAP-A/L, Med Tech, Med Aide, Nurse Delegation
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  • High school or Equivalent (GED)
  • One (1) year experience in some level of elder care preferred
  • Proficient computer skills preferred
  • Strong self-management and organization skills
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to handle competing deadlines, flexible and adaptable (Open to change).
  • Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
  • Constant standing, walking, and grasping. Frequent stooping and reaching above shoulder heights, occasional sitting, crawling, kneeling, and squatting.
  • May have exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases possible.
  • Possible exposure to household chemicals.
  • Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently during working hours.
  • May be subject to frequent interruptions.
  • Interacts with clients, family members and visitors frequently.
