Senior Administration Officer (Legal Business Operations), Ongoing opportunity based in Sydney CBD. Hybrid working options available (2 days per week in the office)

Grade: Clerk Grade 07/08
Salary Range: $113,574 - $125,720 plus superannuation
Employment Type: Ongoing Full-time

Opportunity for a seasoned administration officer to progress their career in a varied role within the Office of the General Counsel, Department of Customer Service. 

The Senior Administrative Officer provides important administrative, engagement, governance, and team collaboration support to the General Counsel and the broader Legal division in a fast-paced operating environment with competing priorities.
In this role you will contribute to administrative, culture and engagement, process improvement, governance and, government business projects and initiatives in a true business operations administrative support role.

  • Remuneration of $113,574 - $125,720+  super & leave loading, commensurate with experience.
  • Based in Sydney CBD (Haymarket)
  • Ongoing opportunity. A talent pool may be created for future opportunities. 

The person in this role will need to:

  • Provide high quality administrative support to the business unit including coordinating the delivery of administrative support services and outputs to ensure the business needs of the team are met.
  • Monitor and address complex and/or sensitive enquiries and issues, including those that are escalated, to ensure the timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Coordinate the collection and collation of information, prepare reports on business unit performance, draft business documents and make recommendations to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Monitor, implement and evaluate administrative practices, systems, and procedures to support the delivery of quality outcomes.

About You:

  • You have relevant experience providing executive administrative or business operations support.
  • You are an effective verbal and written communicator with great initiative; a client focused team player who can adapt to change and independently manage competing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • You have a proven ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with diverse stakeholders to support optimal delivery outcomes.
  • You have strong attention to detail, analytical ability, lateral thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • You have a passion for exceptional service delivery and high-quality outcomes. You are a confident go-getter with a can-do attitude who thrives in an environment where no two days are the same.
