Position:  Change and Release Coordinator

Datacom Location:  Adelaide preferred but open to other cities due to urgency - apply ASAP!

Security Requirements: Citizens and Residents of Australia Only, and you must be able to achieve a Baseline Security Clearance when applied for. If you have this already, this is an advantage.

The Change Coordinator role is responsible for providing analysis and administrative support to changes within a customer’s site and ensuring that all changes progress in a timely manner within the change management lifecycle. The purpose of this role is to ensure that changes and releases made on systems within Datacom’s control adhere to the defined Change Enablement Processes.

This role is based in Adelaide, and we like to bring people together in person when we can but are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/life balance. We therefore leave it to you and your manager to figure out what works best.

Please note that to be successful in this role, you will need to be an Australian Citizen and be able to achieve Australian Government Baseline clearance.

What You’ll Do

As Change & Release Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Effectively manage the lifecycle of change requests across single and/or multiple accounts as directed
  • Providing analysis & input to appropriate change management reports as directed
  • Assist in validating failed changes due to technical or process failure and follow up on PCR (Post Change Review) documentation as required
  • Assist in following up of approvals for Changes as required
  • Responsible for creating and issuing the Forward Schedule of Change & Release for the process delivery of the services to the customers both internal and external as required
  • May be required to chair or participate in CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings and other change-related meetings such as Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs), as appropriate
  • Identifying opportunities for Service improvement to build a culture of service excellence
  • Manage & maintain Datacom change and release process, guidelines and other authorised documentation and ensure stored in approved repository
  • Assist in the preparation of training materials and provide guidance to end-users to support process adherence
