Software Engineer Intern, Full Stack chez Sedaro

Overview 

Sedaro is hiring a Software Engineer Intern to
elevate the UX for our aerospace simulation platform.
In this role, you will develop data visualization and analysis capabilities that transform complex simulation outputs into actionable insights for aerospace engineers.

  Studio, reporting to the Director of Engineering 

• Location:
  In person in Arlington, VA 

• U.S. Citizen or permanent resident status required

Our cloud-native simulation platform enables digital mission engineering through distributed, scalable, faster than real-time analyses across hundreds of interacting systems. We build powerful analytics and 3D renderings using Echarts, React Flow, and Cesium on a modern React/TypeScript foundation. What You’ll Do 

• Design clear user experiences through information architecture and user flows 

• Extend our design system and component libraries 

• Develop intuitive and performant 3D and data visualizations 

• Drive operational excellence using CI/CD and observability frameworks 

• Deliver regularly in a Lean and Agile process

Requirements 

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience 

• Hands-on experience building web applications with React 

Additional desirable experience: 

• Experience with data visualization 

• Experience with automated testing for frontend applications
