As the COE Lead, Costing & Operations Finance Standards, you will be instrumental in driving consistency, transparency, and audit readiness in our costing, inventory accounting, and procurement finance practices. This newly created leadership position will lead the development of enterprise-wide standards and policies, support a major ERP transformation (Business Central), and elevate technical excellence across our multi-site finance operations.
This role will report directly to the Vice President of Commercial & Operations Finance and work in close partnership with site Controllers, Operations, Procurement, and Commercial Finance teams.

Standard Costing & Inventory Accounting
- Design and implement consistent methodologies and frameworks across all locations.
- Ensure BOM accuracy and inventory valuation consistency.
ERP Finance Enablement
- Act as Finance lead in the rollout of Microsoft Business Central ERP.
- Own configuration design, master data integrity, and cross-functional integration.
Technical Accounting Expertise
- Provide authoritative guidance on technical accounting issues.
- Ensure audit compliance and readiness across costing and inventory functions.
Corporate Policies & Procedures
- Develop and maintain finance policies that align with audit standards and drive consistency.
Procurement Finance Support
- Collaborate with Procurement to assess raw material costing, tariffs, and supplier contracts.
- Offer financial insights to support negotiations and optimize purchasing strategies.
Controller Enablement & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Serve as a resource and coach for site Controllers.
- Drive visibility to SKU-level costing to strengthen profitability analysis and RGM strategies.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in operations finance, with deep expertise in costing, inventory, and procurement finance.
- Demonstrated leadership across multi-site finance teams.
- Strong ERP skills (Microsoft Business Central, SAP, or Great Plains).
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or CPA.
- Experience in food & beverage or CPG manufacturing.
- Familiarity with private equity environments and ERP upgrades.
- Strategic mindset with a bias for action.
