How you’ll contribute 

Respiratory Therapist (CRT) who excels in this role:

  • Assist respiratory therapists with preparing for and providing patient care.
  • Deliver routine therapy as delegated by a therapist.
  • Respond to codes and calls for emergent assistance. 
  • Assess patient conditions and delivers appropriate treatment.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions.
  • Educates the patient and family about the patient’s illness and provides information about community support groups and other resources.
  • Monitor, receive, stock, and distribute respiratory care supplies and medical gas cylinders.
  • Maintain storage areas with required supply levels and equipment. 
  • Disassemble, clean, and sterilize equipment, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration of machines.

What we’re looking for
Applicants should be a graduate of a program of discipline. Additional requirements include:

  • Certified Respiratory Care Therapist.

  • Valid and current state board of respiratory care.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required one month from hire/transfer date. 

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) six months from hire/transfer date.

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) six months from hire/transfer date.
