 To provide technical analysis and support for business projects including analysis, development and the recommendation of system controls and procedures that align with the JFSC’s development lifecycle model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides Tier 2/3 technical support for the JFSC’s core business systems
  • When required, works with the JFSC’s service providers to diagnose and resolve problems in a manner that minimises disruption to the JFSC
  • Builds close relationships with internal and external developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility across systems and user satisfaction are maintained
  • Assists internal and external developers with the development and enhancement of JFSC business applications including issue resolution
  • Assists with the implementation of change requests › Draws up operational procedures to support business applications
  • Provides effective training to users on new and updated systems
  • Organises time effectively and adheres to deadlines as agreed with line management
  • Executes additional tasks in order to meet JFSC operational and project objectives

Knowledge and Experience
  • A minimum of five years’ experience within an information systems and technology environment
  • Attained or be studying towards a relevant formal Microsoft qualification such as MCITP/MCSD
  • Attained ITIL Foundation level and be studying or completed Practitioner level modules
  • Experience working with Microsoft Platform systems (CRM, SharePoint and NAV) in a complex enterprise network would be advantageous
  • In depth and broad knowledge across a wide range of ICT systems.
