To support that challenge, the Product Safety department is currently seeking a Product Safety Intern in Greensboro, NC. As an intern on the Operations team, you will help to support our knowledge management initiative by populating our SharePoint with key technical information. In addition, there will be opportunities to work with our scientists to curate data in support of technical activities.

Estimated Duration: May 2026 – August 2026

You will:

  • Support the development of our SharePoint which will act as the Product Safety knowledge base
  • Work alongside scientists to curate data for use in key Product Safety projects and initiatives
  • Populate information into systems utilizing various tools to support data organization and collation
Qualifications:

What you must have:

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in IT or related degree (Data Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Services)
    • Other degree programs are welcome, such as Business Administration
  • Experience in computer programming languages such as but not limited to Visual Basic, SQL, R and Python
  • An enthusiasm to explore projects and responsibilities outside of your area of study
  • A level of comfort required to collaborate and to ask questions whenever required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Aptitude with electronic word processing, spreadsheet and presentation systems, as well as comfort in using electronic systems and database.
