Responsibilities
This position is on site in the office 5 days/week.
The Buyer Planner II position supports the procurement team in daily operations, including PO issuance reporting, and ensuring seamless supply chain coordination. This position is responsible for managing purchase orders, inventory reporting, and providing operational support to field service teams, with a primary focus on California operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Update inventory reports in Excel and review receiving reports and miscellaneous material inventory for onsite printing operations.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and warehouse operational metrics.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and availability to meet production and business requirements.
• Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies
• Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, and production teams.
• Review and validate working papers and ensure completeness.
• Manage purchase order (PO) documentation in SAP.
• Generate and analyze spend reports.
• Input field service team (FST) data to SAP.
• Document game change requests and updates.
• Review excessive usage reports based on retailer requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Manages multiple procurement and warehouse functions across several locations.
• Resolves inventory discrepancies and documentation issues; requires strong teamwork across departments.
• Oversees inventory value, cost control, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 4 years in warehouse or logistics operations, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and SAP experience preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards.
- May require occasional travel between facilities.
- Exposure to warehouse environments, including machinery operation and material handling.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $69,000 - $109,417. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
