Team Global Express is looking for an Operations Administrator / Freight Coordinator to join our team in Karawatha. This is a hands-on role where you’ll split your time between the office and the depot floor, ensuring freight moves smoothly and customer queries are handled quickly and professionally.
What You’ll Do:
Coordinate and resolve real-time freight queries on the depot floor
Assist customers with collections, drop-offs, unidentified freight, repacks, and damages
Manage escalations and freight investigations, ensuring issues are resolved promptly
Ensure safety for all staff and visitors in customer areas
Provide timely, accurate updates to customers via email and phone
Inspect and investigate freight issues by liaising with floor staff
Scan freight (RF) to identify and resolve discrepancies
Manage a busy email inbox, working with Customer Service to organise return labels and updates
Maintain and update in-house systems and databases daily

Strong customer focus with a passion for problem-solving
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Proficiency in administration and data entry
Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
Commitment to workplace safety
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment (including WHS standards)
