1.         Summary of Position:  

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Total Rewards, the Payroll Supervisor will oversee and supervise payroll operations across the United States, Mexico, Canada, and additional international locations. This role is critical in ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance, while also driving process transformation and risk mitigation, and operational excellence.

1.        

Oversee end-to end payroll processing across multiple countries, ensuring 

accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Supervise payroll activities, including reconciliations, tax filings, benefits, deductions, 

and reporting.

Identify and flag risks related to compliance, system controls, data accuracy, and 

process gaps; implement corrective actions to mitigate exposure.

Partner with HR, Finance, and payroll vendor to resolve any payroll issues and 

ensure alignment.

Lead payroll process transformation initiatives to drive efficiency, strengthen controls, 

and enhance employee experience.

6.        

Ensure compliance with country-specific labor laws, tax regulations, and 

reporting requirements.

7.        

Support payroll system upgrades, including and not limited to timekeeping enhancements.

8.        

Provide coaching and guidance to payroll team. Fostering professional development 

and accountability

Prepare payroll related reports and analytics for leadership and any ad hoc requests.

3.   Qualifications for Position

 

         A. Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field (or education/experience equivalency)

 

 

 

         B. Experience

Minimum of 5 years of progressive payroll experience, including exposure to multi-country payroll administration preferred.

 

         C. Competencies & Attributes

1. Strong knowledge of US payroll regulations and compliance requirements.

2. Experience with payroll in Canada, Mexico, and other international countries strongly preferred.

3. Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

4. Strong analytical skills; advanced proficiency in Excel required

5. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

6. Demonstrated ability to foster a respectful, collaborative, and team-oriented environment.

7.  Advanced knowledge of HR Information Systems, specifically ADP, ETime, and SAP.
