Delaware North Australia is hiring skilled Commis Chefs to join our team at Melbourne Airport. As a Commis Chef, you'll be responsible for collaborating with senior chefs to create dishes that make a lasting impression. What you will do?:
  • Prepare a variety of dishes in a high-volume production setting
  • Follow recipes for menu preparation, ensuring adherence to cooking guidelines and standards
  • Execute food preparation tasks with a focus on presentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
  • Conduct temperature and quality checks, manage cross-contamination to ensure WHS compliance
More about you:
  • Previous Commis Chef experience
  • Minimum Level 3 Certificate in Commercial Cookery
  • Solid background in kitchen operations
  • A passion for food and creative flair
  • Demonstrated track record meeting financial targets for food and labour costs
  • Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster
